The Gayhound: A Bi-Weekly Newsletter: The bi-weekly newsletter from LGBTQ+ Student Services contains educational information and resources related to health and wellness, education and advocacy, and on/off-campus training opportunities. Join LGBTQ+ Student Services on the Bridge to receive the newsletter.

LGBTQ+ Student Services: Through intentional programming, student leadership, education and outreach, LGBTQ+ Student Services is committed to offering holistic support and services for LGBTQ+ students at Loyola. Queer Talk: A weekly LGBTQ+ student affinity space to gather for conversation around what is happening in the world and our lives. Every Thursday from 4:30pm-6pm in the Pride Resource Room (3rd Floor Student Center).
Spectrum: An all-inclusive student organization for LGBTQ+ students and their allies, Spectrum offers social gatherings and outreach services and programming throughout the academic year.
The LGBTQ+ Experience: A student-run organization which uses its platform to amplify the voices of LGBTQ+ students on campus through advocacy, activism, and education, The LGBTQ+ Experience continues to create meaningful change at Loyola.
OUTLoyola: An employee group made up of LGBTQ+ individuals and allies, OUTLoyola meets regularly throughout the academic year to build community, discuss issues relevant to the LGBTQ+ community and work on initiatives to enrich the experience of LGBTQ+ people at Loyola.
ACT: Change occurs through action. Let’s do it together.
Donate to Local Organizations: Support the invaluable work of Baltimore and Maryland based community organizations by donating money, time, or talent. Organizations to consider include Baltimore Safe Haven, FreeState Justice, Trans Maryland, and Chase Brexton’s Center for LGBTQ Health Equity.
Contact Legislators: Don’t like what you see or hear happening at the local, state, or national level? Contact your legislators and let them know. Trans Maryland tracks state-level policy and provides resources on how to contact your representative. Human Resource Campaign provides an action opportunity to tell your legislators NO to anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
Ask Questions & Speak Up: If something does not feel or sound right to you, ask a question to pause the moment and gather more information. Speak up to protect the rights, dignity, and wellbeing of our LGBTQ+ community. We can do this together.
